Angeline Lucy DeSiato, 86, of Columbia, CT., died Tuesday April 25, 2006 at Windham Memorial Hospital. She was born in Willimantic, CT. on March 12, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Paci) Giordano and the beloved wife of the late Felix DeSiato, the founder of DeSiato Sand and Gravel Corporation. She is survived by her son Philip and daughter in law Susan DeSiato, daughter Patricia and son in law David Lindbom, son in law David Scarpino and was predeceased by her daughter Linda Scarpino. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Giordano of Mansfield, a sister, Anne Insalaco of Windham, six grandchildren Annmarie Fortier, Tammy Judd, David Lindbom, Melissa Evans, Kim Godin and Christine Scarpino,nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member and volunteer of several organizations including the following; parishioner of St. Columba Church in Columbia and St. Mary s Church in Coventry, The Beckish Senior Center in Columbia, Princess Yolanda Lodge, Soropotomist Club of Windham County and secretary and treasurer of DeSiato Sand and Gravel Corporation. Angeline was a loving mother and grandmother who opened her heart and home to family and friends at all times. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a fond love of music, dancing, playing cards, bowling and spending time with her family. Angeline had a special relationship with all her grandchildren and enjoyed being involved with all their lives. Her family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday between 5:00 and 8:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Mary s Church, 1600 Main St. Coventry, with assembly directly at the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
