Angel L. Mercado

Angel L. Mercado, 76, of 50 South St. Willimantic, husband of Adriana Rivera, died Sunday Nov. 11, 2007 at his home. He was born April 14, 1931 in Puerto Rico. In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Angel M. Mercado, Edwin Lisboa Mercado and Elba Iris Mercado all of Willimantic, Martha Mercado, Angel L. Mercado and Gladys Mercado all of New Jersey and several other children in Puerto Rico. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family will begin receiving friends at their home at 50 South St. in Willimantic on Wednesday at 6:00pm and continue throughout the day Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham, with interment following in New Willimantic Cemetery.
