Angel Fernandez, 72, of Willimantic, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019. He was born January 20, 1947 in Puerto Rico, son of the late David and Luz (Leida) Fernandez. Angel was a simple man who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is survived by his children; Luis Fernandez and his wife Bernice of Willimantic, David Fernandez of Milwaukee, WI, Leida Pacheco and her husband Juan of Willimantic, Ricardo Fernandez of Willimantic, Adriana Fernandez and her husband Oscar Rios of Willimantic, 9 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Wilda M. (Rivera) Fernandez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10-11 AM at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM.
