Andrejs Bachmuts

Andrejs Bachmuts, 94, of 621 Valley St. Willimantic, died Monday Jan. 27, 2003 at the Haven Health Center in Willimantic. He was born March 14, 1908 in Latvia. Mr. Bachmuts owned and operated the European Bakery originally located on Jackson St. and then moved to Church St. in Willimantic, for many years. He was a member of the Latvian Lutheran Church in Willimantic. He is survived by his wife Irma (Taurins) Bachmuts, a son and daughter in law, Ints and Vija Bachmuts of S. Windsor and a granddaughter and her husband Sandra and Kenneth Scully of Acton, MA. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00am with the funeral service beginning at 12:00.
