Anastasia Ann Reynolds, 70, of Chaplin, wife of John Reynolds, died Wednesday July 20, 2005 at their home. She was born March 20, 1935 in Greenwich, the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Furman) Bukowski and had lived in Chaplin nearly 50 years. She was a graduate of Willimantic State Teachers College, now Eastern Connecticut State University, was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, and taught elementary school in North Windham and Ashford for many years. Ann was an active member of her community, serving for 15 years on the Chaplin Board of Education, as a writer and editor of the Chaplin Clipboard and as a consumer advocate for W.A.C.A.P. She was an avid amateur photographer and an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Society. In addition to her husband she is survived by 4 children, Scott Andrew Reynolds of Colchester, Jo Anne Reynolds of Willimantic, Heather Reynolds of Bloomington, IN and Heidi Hand of Storrs, 2 grandchildren, Maxfield and Helena Hand, 2 sisters, Lillian Bukowski of Willington and Genevieve Bukowski of Oakland, CA. She was predeceased by a brother, John Bukowski. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday July 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel, 46 North Eagleville Rd. Storrs. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
