Amos Norman Robert Morin, 82, of Willimantic, leaves his loving family for just a little while. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth ?Betty? (Young), whom he always called ?Babe?. He also leaves his two daughters: Doreen James (Scott), Darlene Gottlieb (Dave McCollum), and his son, Robert (Lauren Kupper). Amos had eight grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Joshua James, Nicole Gottlieb, Daniel Gottlieb, Benjamin Gottlieb, Amy McCollum, Katelyn McCollum, Travis Morin and Shane Morin. But it was his seven great-grandchildren who really put a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes: Joshua Jr., Julian, Jordan, Elijah, Leilani, Bailey and Aiden. Amos was pre-deceased and now joins his young son Dennis Morin, his brother Louis Morin, and his mother Helen Caron. There will be a Celebration of life for Amos on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the First Congregational Church in Willimantic at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic, CT.
