Althea A. Colwell

Althea (Andrews) Colwell, 90, of South Windham, wife of Raymond W. Colwell, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at home. She was born October 1, 1916 in Mansfield, the daughter of Merton and Ada (Brown) Andrews and had lived in the Mansfield and Windham area most of her life. She also spent a few years living all over the United States as she traveled with her husband whose work took him throughout the country and beyond. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, Ted and his wife Eileen of South Windham, Randy and his wife Bonnie of Tolland, her grandchildren, Adrienne, Meredith, Ryan and Sarah and her half sister, Jean Houlder of Rockville, MD. Althea was a member of the South Windham Congregational Church and the Guilford Smith Memorial Library. Following cremation, her remains will be buried in the Windham Center Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Windham Congregational Church.
