Allan Richard Slate

Allan Richard Slate, 62, of North Windham, formerly of Mansfield, husband of Dorothy (Young) Slate, died Wednesday February 4, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. He was born June 15, 1941 in Willimantic, the son of the late Russell and Kathleen (Nichols) Slate and had lived in Mansfield most of his life. Allan was employed by Mountain Dairy of Mansfield all his life. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children, John Mosier of Coventry, Debora Remillard of North Windham, Joyce Taylor of Willimantic and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Mosier. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the South Chaplin Cemetery, Rte. 198, Chaplin.
