Alice Santiago

Alice Santiago, 63, of South Windham, formerly of San Diego, CA, wife of Andres Santiago, died Wednesday October 31, 2007 in New London. She was born May 13, 1944 in Hawaii, the daughter of Helen (Jonolino) Castillo of Hawaii and the late Marcello Castillo and had lived in San Diego for many years before moving to South Windham two years ago. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at the Navy Exchange in San Diego. In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, Susan Dombrigues of Florida, Elden Agbayani, Tommy Agbayani and Peter Agbayani, all of Oahu, several stepchildren in the Willimantic area, three sisters, Elsie Carlson of CA and Daphne Ducusin of Oahu and Elizabeth Springer of CA., three brothers, Marcelo Castillo Jr.of Kamuela, George Castillo and Edwin Castillo both of N. Kohala, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Helen (Castillo) Dabalos. There will be a gathering at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Wednesday, November 7th at 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Valley St., Willimantic.
