Alice Morytko

Alice (Shea) Morytko, 93, formerly of Willimantic, wife of the late Emil Morytko, died Tuesday Dec. 02, 2008 at Vernon Manor. She was born June 11, 1915 in Willimantic, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Clark) Shea. For many years Alice worked at Electro-Motive Manufacturing Corp. Reading and completing crossword puzzles were among the things she most enjoyed. She is survived by daughter Sally Stone and her husband Geoffrey of Vernon, son Peter Morytko and his wife Barbara of Bristol, daughter in law Susan Morytko of Columbia, grandchildren Mark Morytko, Elizabeth Morytko, Laura Lawton, Michael Morytko, Emily Westerberg and Erin Morytko; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Thomas Morytko and sister Helen Nasin. Calling hours will not be held. A graveside service will take place at 12:00pm on Friday Dec. 5th in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd., Windham. Memorial donations may be made to a charity or organization of the donor's choice.
