Alice E. (Chartier) Dino, 94 of Windham Rd., Hampton, widow of Stephen Dino, died Sunday May 19, 2002 at home. She was born Feb. 19, 1908 in Chaplin, the daughter of Paul and Albertine (Duff) Chartier. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Scotland for many years prior to moving to Hampton 32 years ago. As a Scotland resident, she was very active in public affairs, serving on the Board of Education, the Library Board, the Republican Town Committee and the Scotland Volunteer Fire Dept. She had also been active at St. Margaret's Chapel in Scotland and since moving to Hampton was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was predeceased by a son Francis Dino. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters in law; Patricia and John Donahue of Hampton, Melina and Raymond Rurey of Pulaski, N.Y., 6 grandchildren; John Donahue and his wife Deanne , Geraldine Donahue, Deborah Donahue, and Stephen Donahue and his wife Kathy all of Hampton, Kelley White and her husband Phillip of Fairfax, VA., Bryan Rurey and his wife Jessica of Liverpool, N.Y. and 7 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter F.H. 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Cedar Swamp Rd., Hampton, with assembly at the church. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
