Alfons Fuksis, 86, of Willimantic, died Friday, August 31, 2012 in Willimantic. He was born May 6, 1926 in Latvia and had lived in Coventry for many years. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Windham school system. He is survived by his wife, Daila Fuksis of Willimantic. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September, 4th 2012 at 1:00 PM in the New Willimantic Cemetery, Rte. 32 at Rte. 6, Willimantic. There are no calling hours.
