Alexander Edward Haddad

Alexander Edward "Ted" Haddad , age 69 of Scotland, CT, passed away Saturday December 7, 2013 at home surrounded by family following a year long fight with cancer. Ted was born and raised in New Zealand then spent many years prospecting and map making for oil companies in the Australian Outback. He came to the USA in 1978. He graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1982 then gained employment with Connecticut Department of Environment Protection. He left their employ in 1995 and founded his own company A & R Concrete. He is survived by his wife Judy and their two children Alex and Rose. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday Dec. 15, 2013 between 2:00 and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday Dec. 16th at 10:00am St. St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with Rev. Roger Lamoureux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
