Siempre la recordaremos cómo una mujer sonriente, alegre, llena de humildad y amor. Le encantaba la música mejicana, el merengue, la bachata y la salsa. Un ser humano espectacular a quien todos llamaban MOTHER.
Es su esposo el Sr. Carmelo Ramos. Sus hijos Carmelo Ramos Jr. (R.I.P.), Carmen Lydia Ramos, Ángel Ramos (R.I.P.), Edwin Ramos (R.I.P.) y Betty Nazario (hija de corazón). Son sus hermanas Milagros Crespo, Teresa Crespo, Rosalia Crespo, Diomedes Crespo y Nelly Crespo. Son sus hermanos difuntos; Lurentino Crespo, Iraida Ortiz, Ramón Crespo y José “Chita” Crespo. Sus nietos; Glorivy, Carmelo Jr., Omar, Erik, Luis, Daylenn, Marivelisse y Angelo. Sus bisnietos; Edwin, Jomar, Aniel, Albany, Maya, Malik, Isaiah, Alana, Alivia y Elia.
Todos la recordaremos con mucho Amor y agradecimiento. Alejita vivirá en nuestros corazones por siempre…

Alejandrina Crespo Méndez was born on April 28, 1947, in the town of San Sebastián, PR. She died on April 23, 2025, in Hartford, CT.
We will always remember her as a smiling, joyful woman, full of humility and love. She loved Mexican music, merengue, bachata, and salsa. A spectacular human being whom everyone called MOTHER.
Her husband is Mr. Carmelo Ramos. Her children are Carmelo Ramos Jr. (R.I.P.), Carmen Lydia Ramos, Ángel Ramos (R.I.P.), Edwin Ramos (R.I.P.), and Betty Nazario (daughter of heart). Her sisters are Milagros Crespo, Teresa Crespo, Rosalia Crespo, Diomedes Crespo, and Nelly Crespo. Her deceased brothers are Lurentino Crespo, Iraida Ortiz, Ramón Crespo, and José “Chita” Crespo. Her grandchildren: Glorivy, Carmelo Jr., Omar, Erik, Luis, Daylenn, Marivelisse, and Angelo. Her great-grandchildren: Edwin, Jomar, Aniel, Albany, Maya, Malik, Isaiah, Alana, Alivia, and Elia.
We will all remember her with much love and gratitude. Alejita will live in our hearts forever…

The family will receive friends and family to the Calling Hours that are set for Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3:00PM to 5:00 PM at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT. A Funeral Mass in her honor will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Sagrado Corazon De Jesus Church, 61 Club Road, Windham, CT followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 134 Club Road, Windham.
