Alberta L. Hinckley

Alberta L. Hinckley, 85, of Lebanon, mother of 13 children, died Thursday Sept. 5, 2002 at the Windham Hospital with her family by her side. She was born April 4, 1917 in Lebanon the daughter of Albert and Lucinda (Thayer) Wheaton. Most of her life was spent being a loving and caring mother and wife. She loved the outdoors, gardening and animals, especially her puppy, Bubbles. She is survived by her children; Betty Mather of Windham, Martha Uhouse of Mansfield, Shirley Spellacy of Lebanon, Joyce Fienman of MA., Barbara Drum of Lebanon, Marjorie Beck of GA., Linda Bastille of Lebanon, Charles Hinckley of Lebanon, June Bastille of Windham, Eloise Spielman of Sprague, Beverly Hinckley of Lebanon and Evelyn O?Keefe of Norwich, a brother Harold Wheaton of Lebanon, 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Alberta was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Kenneth Hinckley, 2 grandsons; Arty Williams and Andy Bastille, her son Kenny and her sister Jeanette Pinckney. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00pm at the Goshen Congregational Church, Church Rd., Lebanon. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern Ct. Chapter, 96 Oak St., Hartford, Ct. 06106.
