Albert Veilleux, 65, of Oakwood Dr., Windham, husband of Adele (Ganzler) Veilleux, died Wednesday evening Dec. 26, 2001 at the Windham Hospital. He was born May 12, 1936 in Willimantic the son of Joseph and Marie (Sevigny) Veilleux. He had retired as the President of SEMCO in N. Windham and continued to serve as its? Chairman of the Board. He was formerly employed by Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. in Willimantic for many years. Mr. Veilleux helped to establish and raised funds for the Immaculata Retreat House and was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church, Willimantic. He was a former member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters; Darlene Allison of N. Windham, Lorie Motivans and her husband Art of S. Windham and Joanne Veilleux of Willimantic, a brother Roland Veilleux of Willimantic, 3 sisters Aline Nye of Florida, Simone Veilleux of Willimantic and Lorraine Overturf of Lebanon, 3 grandchildren; Ashley Allison and Kyle and Cody Motivans and several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Saturday at 8:45am prior to the procession to his 9:30am Funeral Mass at St. Mary?s Church, Valley St., Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers his family suggests memorial donations to St. Mary Church 80 Maple Ave. Willimantic,Ct. 06226.
