Albert W. Lowrey

Albert W. Lowrey, 76, of Willimantic, died Monday November 5, 2001 at Hartford Hospital. He was born December 14, 1924 in Lowell, MA, the son of Wallace and Antoinette (Berton) Lowrey and was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy Seabees. Prior to his retirement Mr. Lowrey was employed for 40 years a the former Brand Rex Co. in Willimantic. He enjoyed cooking and vacationing at Hampton Beach, NH. He is survived by his companion, Linda White of Willimantic, 2 daughters, Jerilyn Lowrey of East Hartford, Tracy Burke of Coventry, 2 sons, Philip Lowrey of Mansfield, William Lowrey of New London, 2 sisters, Connie Mulbury of Orlando, FL, Claire LeBele of Tewksbury, MA, 2 grandsons, Douglas Burke and Daniel Burke, several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor s choice.
