Albert E. Jarvis

Albert E. Jarvis, 66, of Lebanon Ave. Willimantic, departed this life on Friday March 5, 2004 at his home after a very brief battle with cancer. He was born May 4, 1937 in Willimantic the son of Doris M. (LaForce) Jarvis of Hampton and the late Albert J. Jarvis. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed for 42 years at the Brand Rex Co. in Willimantic. Albert had a love of fishing, hunting with his brother in law and nephew, watching wrestling and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son Albert M. Jarvis of Willimantic, his son and daughter in law Dennis M. and Jacqueline Jarvis of Willimantic with whom he resided, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Jeannette Colburn and her husband David and their family of S. Killingly and Cheryl Penrod and her husband Ted and their family of Hampton, a brother Ronald Jarvis and his wife Florence and their family of Danielson and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter from Sophia, NC., Diane Elizabeth Willey, his former wife Irene A. (Mailloux) Jarvis and 3 great grandchildren. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services and burial will be private.
