Albert Gervais

Albert Gervais, 92, of Windham Center, died Friday October 24, 2003 at his home. He was born January 1, 1911 in Biddeford, Maine, the son of Albert and Cordelia (Turgeon) Gervais and had lived in Windham all his life. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Therese (Laramie) Kegler Gervais, 3 children, Gay Billie Parenteau of Wichita, KS, Stanley Gervais of Windham, Peter Gervais of Windham, a brother, Paul Gervais of Windham, 4 grandchildren, Christina Smith of Germany, Stanley Gervais II of Windham, Casey Gervais of Oklahoma, Peri Parenteau of Wichita and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Edith (O'Bara) Gervais, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Assoc., 34 Ledgebrook Dr. Mansfield Center, CT 06250 or to St. Margaret Church, c/o St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
