Adriana Rivera, 83, of Willimantic, CT died at Hartford Hospital Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was born May 18, 1936 to the late Isidra Nunez and Mauricio Rivera in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Adriana is survived by a sister Santa Rivera (Efrain) of PR, children Eduardo Lopez of New Jersey, Jorge (Maira) Lopez of Ohio, Guillermo (Maria) Lopez of PR, Ramona Lopez (Andres Cruz) of PR, Milagros Lopez of Florida, Angel Mercado of Willimantic. Numerous grandchildren including Andres Cruz Jr., Lillian Cruz, Raquel Cruz, Christian Cruz, Israel (Diana) Alvarez Jr., Jinnette (Carlos) Bonilla, Moises (Carrie) Alvarez, Leonardo Alvarez, Madeline Rodriguez, Yolanda Lopez, Jorge Lopez Jr., Sully Lopez, Nicole Lisboa, Natasha Lisboa, Christopher Lisboa, numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Angel Mercado Rivera, her sons Eulogio Lisboa, Hector Muniz, her brothers Audeliz Rivera, Andres Montalvo and sister Rosa Rivera. Her family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 10:00am - 11:00am with her funeral service starting at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic 06226. Burial will follow at the New Willimantic Cemetery, Route 32, Willimantic, CT 06226.
