Adolf Albert Piaseczny

Adolf A. Piaseczny, 75, of Bolton, husband of the late Laura (Czarnata) Piaseczny, died Tuesday December 23, 2003 at his home. He was born April 17, 1928 in Manchester, NH, the son of Charles and Aniela (Bieniek) Piaseczny. He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War Two and prior to his retirement was employed for 25 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. He enjoyed hunting, farming and animals and was known for his Christmas tree sales and the petting zoo at his farm "Back Achers". He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Len and Debbie Piaseczny of Chaplin, a brother, Isidore Piaseczny in Hooksett, NH, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will follow in Mansfield Center Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
