I was very saddened to read that Wayne had passed. I had the pleasure to be acquainted with Wayne first, when he taught me how to drive at the American Driving School and later when I was employed at the University of Connecticut and would go to the Central Warehouse to pick up items that were needed in my department. It was always a pleasure to see him. My thoughts and prayers to his entire family.

Cathy and all of Wayne's family --
We were so lucky to have gotten to know Wayne over the years. We still remember his jokes from 30 years ago... "Ohhhhh, Nooooo,, that's not what I was mad about..." He always loved to make our Kara laugh. Now they are laughing together in Heaven. Love you, Cathy.

So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I worked on campus many years ago and very often took a trip to the Warehouse to pick up an 'emergency' item. Would usually be there longer than I should, talking with Wayne. We talked about funny things, some serious, and about his biking adventures. He was a great guy to talk with, interested, kind, funny, and he listened. There's no doubt he was a 'great' family man, and I extend my thoughts and sympathies to all of you. May your wonderful memories help you through your grieving. Wayne, RIP and I'm happy you touched my life!
