Tom had a passion for gardening that was obvious to all who visited his home or the many gardens where he donated his time and talents. In his gardens and his church of 70 plus years, St. Joseph’s, Tom was the embodiment of the phrase, “You are nearer God’s heart in a garden than anywhere else on Earth.”  He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, his walks with Mary Lu, his weekly outings with his brother Frank, and visits with his lifelong friend George Ducharme.
