Thomas E. Delorme

Thomas Eugene Delorme, 75, of Windham, went to his eternal rest at Windham Community Memorial Hospital on July 1, 2019. Born in Windham on April 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Louis and Evelyn (Brousseau) Delorme. Thomas was a true lifelong resident of Windham.

Thomas enjoyed watching his favorite baseball team the Boston Red Sox on television and also attending many games at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. Thomas’ favorite football team was the New England Patriots.

Above all, He truly enjoyed being surrounded by his friends and family. He enjoyed hosting an annual Christmas dinner at his house each year, inviting everyone he could. He was the happiest seeing everyone in his house celebrating.

He leaves his wife of 49 years, Ann Marie (Brindamour) Delorme, brother Harry Delorme and his wife Beatrice, sister-in-law Teresa Collins and husband George, brother-in-law Roland Brindamour and wife Sandra, sister-in-law Gail Linkkila and husband Carl, sister-in-law Jo-Ann Brindamour, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard L. Delorme and brother-in-law Louis Brindamour and wife Rosie.

There are no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on July 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
