Richard Zepherie Theriaque

Richard Z. Theriaque, 81, of North Windham died Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born to Dora (Auclair) and Ovila Theriaque on February 22, 1938. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 62 years, Gladys (Mott); Children Richard M. (Diane) Theriaque of Chaplin, Tammy Theriaque of Arizona, Dianna (David) Geissert of Columbia, Laurie Theriaque of Willimantic; Grandchildren Brigette (David) Alvarez, Michelle (Daniel) Rosado, Randy (Kay) Lacis, Rachel and Emma Geissert; Great-Grandchildren Alyssa, Morgan, Mason, Dominic, Lauren, Drake, Jaidyn, Urban, Cybelle, and Scarlett; Sisters Irene Flores and Shirley Lajoie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Dawn Lacis; Sister Lillian Theriaque; Brothers Henry Theriaque and Eddy Auclair. Richard was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, member of the Baptist Fellowship Church in Columbia, CT, a life-long member of the North Windham Volunteer Fire Department and he worked for Pratt & Whitney for 40 years. Richards family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 4:00-7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. His funeral service will be Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:00am at Baptist Fellowship Church 195 RT 6, Columbia. Burial will follow at North Windham Cemetery.
