Phyllis E. Rodman, 90, of Willimantic passed away February 26, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born June 2, 1927 in Cranston, RI to the late Ernest and Elsie Hanwell. Phyllis owned and operated the Sheepskin Shop in Willimantic for many years. She also enjoyed knitting and being outdoors.
Phyllis is survived by daughters, Susan Wolfe and husband Valentine of Canandaigua NY, Kathryn Hamilton of Danbury NH, Janice Burnham and husband Wesley of Lebanon CT; son, Jeffrey Rodman and wife Debra of Willimantic, as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph W. Rodman and son-in-law Robert A. Hamilton.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Hartford Hospital ICU and the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for their compassion and care during Phyllis’s recent stays.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
