Mike was a very kind and funny person! I knew him in the mid-1960's (while still in High School) when I would help him work on old cars - a 1937 Buick Special and a 1955 Chevy Bel Air.
I also remember his Dad listening to baseball games on an old Zenith radio in the barn smoking a cigar and his generous mother Prall.

Mike was a neighbor of ours on Ripley Hill when we lived there in the 1950s.

I wanted to send my deepest sympathy for your loss. Mike was always a pleasure to be around and I enjoyed working with him in the Central Warehouse at UConn. His compassion and wonderful his wonderful sense of calm was so appreciated. Mike had many qualities and will surely be missed.

Mike was a wonderful fellow and will be missed. He took great pride in his work ethic and knowledge of the five cemeteries and never missed a meeting, workshop or event to support the cemeteries. On behalf of the Cemetery Commission please accept our heartfelt condolences.
