It is with a heavy heart that I leave this message for MaryAnn's family. It was by accident that I learned of her passing just a few days ago. It was shocking to find out she'd been gone for close to a year. I worked for her for 6 years at the Ashford Town Hall. I had never met anyone with so many unique stories. Her life seemed like a true adventure in living. Some were sad, some had plenty of drama, but many just made me laugh until I cried. MaryAnn had a zest for living and boy could she shop. I remember a trip to Sam's club. She filled the back of Butch's pick-up truck, and part of the inside. I remember holding items that we thought might blow out the back of the truck. I had purchased some things as well, but I reminded her she wasn't shopping for 6 anymore. She just laughed. When we pulled into the driveway Butch shook his head. We both laughed. That's what I'll remember, laughing with MaryAnn. It's a nice way to remember someone. God Bless.

MaryAnn could always light up a room when she entered; make you smile when you were down about something; and when she told you she was your friend she meant it through and through. I am surely going to miss her like everyone is going too that knew her. My sympathies and prayers to you Butchie and your family.
