Mary Lily (Clermont) Musial, age 93, formerly of Willimantic, widow of Charles J. Musial, passed away on August 10, 2019 at Harmony Homes by the Bay in Durham, NH.  She was born in Dracut, MA on July 27, 1926, daughter of Arthur Clermont and Georgianna (Fortier) Clermont.

Lily retired in 1989 from Eastern Connecticut State College where she worked in the Registrar's Office and later in Early Childhood. She previously worked at the American Screw Company and Sumner and Sumner Insurance Company. She belonged to St. Joseph Parish and was a member of St. Mary's Guild, AARP, and Willimantic Women's Club. Lily did volunteer work at Windham Community Hospital, Cancer Society, and McSweeney Senior Center.  After retirement, she loved traveling with Eastern Connecticut State College retirees.  Lily has resided in New Hampshire for the past eight years.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Fletcher of Strafford, New Hampshire, and a son, Kevin, who resides in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She also leaves grandchildren, Ryan Fletcher and wife, Suzanne, of Nottingham, NH, Jennifer (Fletcher) and husband, Eric von der Linden, of Stratham, NH, Marybeth (Musial) and husband, Chris Fidrych, of N. Kingstown, RI, Sylvia Musial of Norwich, CT, great grandchildren Samuel and Owen Fletcher and Ashleigh and Emilie von der Linden, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, Lily was predeceased by four brothers, George, Alphee, Edgar, and Roger Clermont, and a sister, Rita (Clermont) Cote.  She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Mary's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 11am to 12:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, with her funeral service beginning at 12:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, or charity of one’s choice.
