Lillian Pierina Vezzetti, beloved wife of Renato Vezzetti, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 peacefully at home.  Lillian was born January 25, 1925, the daughter of Stefano Pagnone of Lugnacco, Italy, and Mary Pagnone of Milan, Italy.

She was awarded a scholarship to study clothes design at Cooper Union in New York City, and was a gifted seamstress in the garment industry.  In October of 1946, she married Renato Vezzetti and worked by his side on Waterloo Mills Farm for 30 years.

Her husband credited her achievements for their registered Holstein herd.  By 1973 it was the 18th highest producing herd in Orange County, New York. Eventually they retired, and purchased a house in Melborne Beach, Florida, where they lived for many years.

In 2005 Lillian and Renato moved to Hebron, Connecticut to be near their son and his family.  Over the years, they made friends easily and enjoyed their hobby of polka dancing. She was a member of the Unit 1607 American Legion Auxiliary in Unionville, New York and a member of the Italian American Club in Florida.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, and she is survived by a daughter, Diana Lakes and her husband, Rod of Madison, WI; a son Ronnie Vezzetti and his wife Andrea; and their daughters, Angelica Roche and her husband Shaun; Jennifer Ruchwa and her husband Peter; Christina Vezzetti; and three great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
