Welcome to the memorial page for

Joseph T. Bialczak

November 10, 1999 ~ July 16, 2019 (age 19) 19 Years Old

Joseph (Joey) Teo Bialczak, son, brother, and friend, left this world too early. Joey was born in New Haven, CT on November 10, 1999. He leaves behind his mother Christine and his older sister Lindsay Maria. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Edward.

Joseph graduated this past June from Three Rivers Middle College Magnet School with his high school diploma and was heading to Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida this August to further his education in Mechanical Engineering. At TRMCMS he was a member of the National Honor Society and received awards in mathematics.

Joseph was currently working as a line-cook at Angelico’s Lakehouse Restaurant in Hampton, CT. He loved his job and was especially proud of his “Joe Burger”. He previously held jobs at Blaze Pizza in Storrs, Bagel One in North Windham, The Log Cabin in Lebanon, The Lakeview Restaurant in Coventry, and with FedEx. He enjoyed baking and trying new recipes he would put together on his own.

Joseph will be remembered by his warm smile and his sense of humor. So many people adored Joey, more than he even knew. In his free time, he loved hanging out with his friends, playing video games, riding dirt bikes, and most recently, fishing. He has always loved fishing, an activity he and his father shared for many years, navigating slippery rocks and muddy banks of local rivers. Whenever he caught a fish he would bring it home, and filet it right in the kitchen, laughing at the groans of his mother seeing all the blood, then cook it up and eat it. He always asked his mother to try a bite, he was so proud of his cooking.

Joseph was brilliant in mathematics and science. He was proud to announce that he scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of the SATs. He never gave up and worked so hard to achieve what he wanted. He was independent and made plans for the things he really wanted to do. He enjoyed life and his life was just beginning! No struggles or hurdles stopped him, and he made his family so proud!

Services to say goodbye will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Potter Funeral Home in Willimantic
