Jean (Foy) Frankiewicz

Jean (Foy) Frankiewicz, 88, of Eastford, CT, passed away August 9, 2019 at Evergreen Health Care and Rehab. in Stafford Springs.  She was born July 2, 1931 in Willimantic to the late Raymond and Margret (Ellis) Foy.  Jean was employed by Western Union, American Thread in “Technology Testing’, and the Town of Windham as a bookkeeper for “CETA”, and retiring from Travelers Insurance “Corporate Accounts”.  Jean was into Genealogy and was an accomplished scenery painter.  Jean always had a smile and good attitude right to the end while battling Alzheimer’s.  Jean is survived by her son, Jeffery Frankiewicz and his wife Mary of Eastford CT; granddaughter Amanda Frankiewicz of Brooklyn CT; grandson Nicholas Frankiewicz of Copperas Cove TX; step grandson Juan Pedraza of St Clair Ill; niece Marge Peters of Willimantic CT; nephew Ronald Hansen of Coventry Ct, and many great grandchildren.  Jean was predeceased a sister Myrtle Hansen and a brother Russell Foy.  We would like to thank the staff at Evergreen, for the care Jean received in her final time of need.  Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:30am to 11:30am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, with her funeral service beginning at 11:30am.  Burial to follow at the New Willimantic Cemetery, Willimantic.  For an online memorial guestbook please visit www.potterfuneralhome.com.
