Jean M. (O’Leary) Czelusniak, 85, formerly of Willimantic, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough, Massachusetts after a period of declining health. Born on June 21, 1932 in Boston, MA, Jean was the daughter of the late George Morris and Gertrude O’Leary. She was married to her husband of 60 years, George Czelusniak, prior to his passing in 2012. While in Willimantic, she regularly attended mass at St. Joseph Church and was employed by the Electro Motive Company, followed by the Brand-Rex Company, before her retirement.
Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Brian Sylvester and two grandchildren, Christopher and Katelyn of Hopkinton, MA. She also leaves her brother, Eugene Conner and his wife Carol of Colorado, and brother, Robert Conner of Florida.
Her family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:45 am at Potter Funeral Home at 456 Jackson St (Rte. 195) Willimantic prior to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
