We're having a difficult time thinking of life here in Hampton without Jimmy - without his wisdom, his wit, and, of course, his words. "Courage" is what comes to mind when we think of him -- in every facet of his life, and to the end. What a gift his memoir is to those of us who knew and loved him, to our little town, and especially to all of those who seek strength and search for hope.

It was our honor to have been friends with Jimmy since the early 80's. We will always treasure the memories we created and shared along with Mary Ellen. Jimmy is a person one doesn't forget, once he's touched their hearts. His kindness, wit and generosity was genuine and everlasting. We will truly miss him and will always be here for you, Mary Ellen.
