Larysa, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I met your mom at North Windham School and worked with her as a paraprofessional. We soon became friends because of her friendly and loving spirit. She was a wonderful teacher, firm but caring and she taught both of my younger children per my request.

She talked of you often always with love and pride. I know you will miss her terribly, but please look for the signs as she is still with you. Love and prayers being sent your way.

I had the good fortune to have known Isabella for almost 46 years. Together we are blessed with a daughter that both of us will always be proud of.
As I read the beautifully scripted comments, I pray that I conduct the balance of my time on earth, in the same generous spirit of helping others that Isabella expressed all of her life. I am proud to see that our daughter Larysa has already embraced that mission in her life. May we both carry on under the guiding influence of Isabella to make the world better for all.

Miss Eckstein was my student teacher at Noble school. She was so kind and loving, I had a problem speaking French and she was right there helping me. She had the patience of a saint. Years later I went to my youngest daughter 's parent teacher conference, and when I walked into the room we looked at each other laughed and hugged. She was an amazing woman that I will always remember and carry in my heart. My condolences to her love ones.

She was “Izzy” to my Mom, my sister, my brother, and I.
In terms of familial associations, she is considered “sister”, and “aunt” – however we knew her as our teacher, caregiver, benefactor, hostess, protector, cheerleader, and friend.

Maya Angelou is quoted as saying “ ….people will forget what you said,
people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Simply put – through her words, and actions, she created a space in our lives where we felt safe, cherished, important, grateful, and loved.

Aging minds will inevitably dim remembrance those things that are recorded in the annals of time, but her caring and generous spirit abides with us always.

Izzy – Thank you for the fullness you brought to our lives here on earth.
We miss you so very much, but look forward to that day when we see you again, on the other side.

I am so sorry to hear about her passing, My Condolences to you all at this time.
Mrs. Vernon was the best. She was one of my teachers in 4th grade at Noble school over 45 Yrs Ago. Thru the yrs the women I am today is because she always stayed in touch with me in my life. She taught my children as well.
Mrs. Vernon, You Were the best in everyone's life, Thank you for sharing her life with all of us as well.

We are so saddened to hear about the passing of your beautiful mom. She was so very friendly & loving. We would talk for great lengths of time at the grocery stores, catching up on everyone! She molded you into the fine young woman you are today. May you cherish the memories, & know she is close by your side always. She will be greatly missed.

I worked with your Mom for almost 20 years at North Windham School. She was a constant brightness within our school. Students and parents loved her dearly and was the one they all came back to see.

I loved seeing your Mom at Stop & Shop and around town. I miss her spirit already, but I know that it is within you. She raved about you. You are her light.

Miss Eckstein was my 4th grade teacher in North Windham School in 1974. I still think of her today as one the best teacher I ever had. "She would encourage setting the bar higher than they could reach, so they would achieve more than they thought possible." This is the kind of teacher she was to me. Thanks to her efforts I can multiply in my head with out really thinking about it. A small thing? Not to a 9 year old! I remember her reading to us once a week a the end of the day. And that she had contact lenses, and show the whole class what they looked like. Many years after High School, I was happy to see her and tell her what a wonderful teacher she was to me, and that I always remembered her.
So sorry for the loss of such a great lady.

I still remember her when she began teaching. She was a beautiful person - inside as well as outside. What a life she had - how many young people she affected. God bless her family.

Iza was a close personal friend that I will miss greatly. We knew each other from collage, but became friends in the 1070s. She was a most generous person and cared deeply about those she loved. Larysa, Stay strong. You will always have a friend out west.

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I worked with her as a paraprofessional at North Windham School. She was an inspiration to her students and worked tirelessly to help them become the best that she could be. She was the ultimate teacher.
