Dear John and Laura - There are no words that can take away the hurt and sadness you must feel when you lose someone you love. Our two families were very close, spending nearly every holiday together. Your mother was my mother's dearest friend and will be sorely missed by all of our family. The suffering is now gone and she is in God's hands. I wish you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I am sorry for your loss but know that Grazina is now at peace. It was a privilege getting to know your mother over the last few months. She was an amazingly strong and courageous woman with an independent spirit. Reading her obituary shows what a caring and compassionate woman she was to others despite early hardships. She left this world a better place. You both should be very proud of the care you provided for her and your own courage during her illness.

John & Laura, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She will be missed. I'll always remember her when she would start talking to me in her language and then would have a big smile when she realized who she was talking to and we would laugh. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
