Joy-- Your mom was a hoot and I SO ENJOYED her humor over the years. Gloria was one of a kind; she could make you smile and she was so funny. She could have made it on stage with her scooter! It was a pleasure to see her every time she came back to this place. Mother is at peace now dear Joy; take comfort in that. On a personal note Joy, you always treated me with dignity and respect when you were a CNA here back in the day. My journey here is winding down with end-stage Parkinson's disease. I don't want to give up but it is so hard. Be good to yourself and don't make major decisions for awhile. Give time to sort out feelings; after all we only have two parents. God bless you and yours and deepest sincere sympathy.
