Frank Donald Maki, 59, of Walton, NY passed away on Sept. 19, 2019 after an extended health issue.
He graduated from Parish High School in Chaplin, CT and Ohio State University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Frank was employed at Ohio State University for many years in their Financial Services Department and his final employment was an owner/operator as an independent long-haul truck driver. He loved his home in upper New York, tackling remodeling projects and even re-roofed his own home. His final years were mostly homebound due to increasing health issues.
He is survived by his mother Hilda Moseley and her longtime companion Lloyd Davies of Pomfret Center, CT; sister Deborah (Robert) Macha of Windham, CT; two step sisters, Linda and Lana; extended family members Nadine (Gene) Cancellieri, Norman (Marysia) Davies and family, Denise Williams and family, Jacelyn Vincent; also, several relatives from the Pearl, Krupula, and Kauranen families. He was predeceased by his father Donald Maki, step dad George Eldon Moseley.
Memorial donations in Frank’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00am at the South Cemetery in Hampton.
