The years go by so quickly. The deep friendships that bind us seem to be so fleeting. Our hearts and prayers are with the family as we all share in this sorrow.

Enn was for me, a modern day druid. He imparted so much of his knowledge to others in his everyday interactions.

Although Enn often said our lives here on earth were to be lived to the fullest, for that was our known, it is my hope that his kindness and wisdom will continue to live on.

In my heart I see Enn and Artie, together, walking the great halls of the beyond.

We were saddened to hear of Enn's passing, so many fun memories, always had a smile or a joke, or a good debate. Our condolences to the Koiva Family, sent with many prayers and blessing during this difficult time.

I was in the 8th grade with Enn at the H.W. Porter school. We were good friends way back then and I was saddened this morning to read of his passing. He was one of the smartest and most likable people that I ever met and although I have not seen him in a great many years, I still have good memories. My condolences to his friends and family.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in warm memories. And the coming promises from the Bible.
Revelation 21 : 3,4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say :' Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. ' "

My sincere sympathies to Peter and family. I had the opportunity to first know Mr. Koiva as a friend before he was my history teacher. He was advisor to our chess club. I can see him now after saying something with his unique sense of humor, the look on his face of enjoyment. Mr. Koiva had many talents and deep understandings of people, history and of course, chess. I am sure he reached everyone he encountered and shared his gifts with all. Truly, a fine and intelligent man of whom I was honored to have known.
