Betty was a fun and feisty older sister to many students at UCONN, guiding us through (some of the drudge of) work programs, and providing wise words and common sense. A fixture at the Willimantic Motor Inn (Best Western) for many years on the front desk, she made the hours go by quickly. Will miss your bright (and sometimes naughty) spirit, Bets!

So saddened to hear this news, so many wonderful memories at Waterford Walmart with Liz, she always had a smile, and was ALWAYS ready to help where needed, and always helped support our local charities through many fundraiser events at store #2331, My 24yr old daughter now serving in the Military will always remember Liz as "Mrs. Claus" Your wonderful work on Earth is done Liz, now rest easy, you deserve it my friend, my utmost sympathy at this time to her family, may you find strength and peace.

MY deepest condolences to her family on the occasion of the passing of my cousin Betty. I saw her often at the Best Western, and occasionally in Waterford, but not often enough. You will be missed.

Liz was a fixture in our store. She was ever present and always upbeat. Loved to hear her PA announcements because they were always on target. I will miss her smile and her cards for every occasion.
