Her final passion was quilting and she made quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She also passed on to them her love of reading. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-four years, John Costello Jr., parents Emil Strede and Rose Hausman Strede, and brother William Strede. She leaves behind her brothers Emil Strede Jr., Raymond Strede and also her five loving children: Linda Bolen (Tom), Maureen Gagne, Kathy Costello, Michael Costello (Jessica), and Dennis Costello (Donna). She had eight grandchildren; Heather Johnson (Kevin), Sean Bolen, Tiffany Murphy (Ryan), Tina Mullins (Matt), Brian Bolen, Amber Gagne, Katie Gagne, and Theresa-Rose Bolen-the latter two both sharing their grandmother’s middle name. There are also fourteen great grandchildren: Isaac Mullins, Lukas Dicevicius, Isabella Bolen, Caleb Mullins, Zac Johnson, Phoebe Stober, Sophie Bolen, Thomas Murphy, Nathan Amick, Madelyn Johnson, Katelyn Murphy, Connor Amick, Camron Smith, and Ellie Murphy.
