Denise Randy (Cupe) Cruz

Denise Randy Cruz, 66 of Willimantic, CT went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born September 11, 1951 in Hartford, CT to the late Mary Alice and Willie A. Cupe.   
Denise was a very strong, hardworking person who retired from Pratt and Whitney after 35 years and was a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University and also earned her Master’s in Business Quality Management. She had a big heart and loved her family and had many close friends whom she loved dearly. 
Along with her parents, Denise is proceeded her siblings, Clyde Walker, Willie Cupe Jr., and Deborah Shabbier. She is survived by her husband, Julio Cesar Cruz; her children, Kyra Michelle Clark, Miguel Cruz and Jason Cruz; grandchildren, Jordan and Avian Clark, Kyleigh, Kiara and Kaden Cruz; siblings, Belinda Cupe, Carol Kempton, Dwight Cupe, Kimberly Maestas, Dorsey Cupe and his wife Bernadette, Durant Cupe, Tami Cupe; brother in law and his wife, Carlos and Mary Cruz; sister in law, Miram Cruz; step sisters, Lanor Cupe and Marsha Cupe, as well as, many nieces and nephews. 
Denise will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. 
The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2018 with a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic, CT
