I am sorry to hear about the loss of Dan! I knew Dan for many years in his work with Nassiff’s and the schools I worked at. For a time, I gave him drum lessons and he did pretty well. He was a kind and giving person I’ll never forget. I loved telling him jokes and hearing him laugh. Rest In Peace Dan!!! Many, many thanks for the memories. And may the wonderful memories he blessed his family with comfort them in the coming days. Your dad was a good man.

To an Uncle and a father. There are no words that can say all you have given to me. Not just saving a young teenager from a very abusive parent, but you saved me and showed me how to make it in the world. Having 9 children and 18 years of marriage would not be possible without the love support guidance you gave to me in the most critical part of my life. I dont drink dont do drugs and just started a healing farm with many animals to help other people find themselves and to trust and love again, as well as getting my B.A. in forensic Psychology....

I AM sorry that I was not able to come home from Texas to say my good bye, I have tried and I could not make it in time..... But I know you live on and from above you can see all of us and feel the love we all have for you..... Because of you I am able to love again and help others as dose my kids... please watch over my son and my twin daughter up there for now there is family up there.... I'm sure they already introduced themselves as they know there mothers heart and that is what you gave me.....

I honor all that you have been and so honored you chose me to love and fix. My daughter and younger babies have just gotten into horses, as you did for me as well as many other animals. I have not decided which animal or the foundation yet but some how it will honor you and all the lives it touches will be honored to you.... I miss you so much and I am sorry I had to leave so many years ago, but I would not have been able to start this farm and help other if I had not left.......

Semper Fi Uncle, and Fly High..... All my love, aka Ness (new name change is Victoria Sheah Kumara) but I'll always be your Nessie....... My children all send there love and it was one of my older girls that said we need to name the organization after you and she told everyone around us this is the Uncle that saved her moms life... I'm sorry she never got to meet you..... I cant say good bye but I can say I will see you again and every day that passes from now till then I will send you my love until we meet again........

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Chace. He was like a father, to a big crew of us, that he welcomed into his home all the time. He came out to our softball games, cheering us on, with a big smile on his face. I will always remember his kindness. He will truly be missed.

Mr. C, there are not enough words to describe the man but what does come to mind is "Dynamic". I have nothing but great memories of you and all that you have done for me and my family. You have supported me through athletics, employment and many life lessons. We have lost you in body but your legacy will be with us always. The impact of your loyalty that you have given Willimantic will continue forever through those you have touched. Thank you, I will miss you and God Bless.
To the Chace Family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I'm sorry I could not be there. May God be with you all in this time of sorry.

Oh Danny Boy, there are no words to thank the man, father figure, and mentor who taught you everything to succeed in the business world, and in life. You hand picked me, and so many others out of many Friendly’s restaurants, and brought us to you, in Mystic, so you could help us grow, and gave us opportunities to become superstars.
I’ll never forget you, because I see a part of you every time I look in the mirror. The hundreds of your old Friendly’s Mystic family are broken hearted, but we each carry a piece of you within all of us. Rest In Peace Danny Boy. One last bear hug to the best man I ever knew. All our love, prayers, and thoughts go out to the family. This world has lost one of the best. Deb, Peter, Chrissy, I’m so sorry guys.

Dear Debbie, Peter and Chrissy. My heart goes out to you! Where do we begin with so many great memories? The times at Friendlys, the football games, the slerpovers, the beach! Know that your dad was not only a great father, but an important part of our community. All my love and prayers are with you and your families!

I started my journey with Dan in 1985 in Mystic. I’ve been in food service management ever since. Everything I have ever known about being a good manager I learned from Dan. He always told me to know at least one personal thing about every employee so that they would always know that they weren’t just another number in the work force. Every one of us that worked for him felt that in his presence. He always made us feel important and part of his team. He was so very special to me.... I could never forget him!! Rest In Peace my friend..
