Dear Starr, the two of your have been a beacon of sunshine. I loved visiting and taking care of Carl and getting to know you both. You are a special couple and you allowed me to intrude in your lives and feel like family. You both were very accepting of his disease and outcome and so well prepared. You really were able to enjoy each other at the end of his life which of course is how hospice is supposed to be. No doubt he was very well loved and knew it and will be missed.
