Bridget Ann Perry, 70 of Scotland, CT, dearly loved mother and adored grandmother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 7, 2018. She fought a courageous long battle with cancer. Bridget was born in Corglass, County Longford Ireland on September 5, 1947 where she lived with her family. She had a great sense of adventure and believed in following her dreams. Bridget made this happen when she boarded the ship as a 16 year old and sailed to America with her sister Mary in 1964. She worked in New York City at the University of New York. Bridget met her husband David in the city, got married and moved to Connecticut to start a family. She pursued an education in accounting as well as raising a family. Bridget took great pride in her work at Norwich Orthopedic/Orthopedic Partners in Norwich, CT for over 20 years. She enjoyed participating as a deacon at Scotland Congregational Church. Bridget’s greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren, cooking special meals, gardening and sitting by the ocean. She was a sweet lovely lady that lit up the room with her smile, so kind, so strong and will always be remembered fondly. She taught those around her to “Always follow your dreams ~ Beautiful dreams create beautiful lives~ Bridget made her life beautiful.

She was preceded by her husband, David N. Perry; her infant son, Isaac Paul Perry; her parents Anne and James Donohoe of Ireland as well as her brother Frances Donohoe of Australia.
