Barbara J. Touchette

It is with a broken heart to inform of the passing of Barbara (Burnore) Touchette 82, of Windham, CT. Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Thursday February 1, 2018 at Saint Joseph’s living Center in Windham. She was born November 21, 1935 to the late Francis and Rose (Rondeau) Burnore. Barbara made her home in Windham Center with the love of her life, her late husband, Edmond R. Touchette Sr. of 60 years. She worked at the Electric Motive and Windham Hospital where she retired after 19 years.

Barbara leaves behind her son, Edmond R. Touchette JR and his wife April of Provo, UT; Her two daughters, Deborah Linton of Willimantic and Patricia Delnicki and her husband Kenneth of Woodstock Valley. She also leaves behind two grandsons, Robert Linton of Willimantic, Travis Delnicki and his fiancé Nicole of Woodstock Valley. Barbara was so proud of her grandsons, they were the apple of her eye. She was predeceased by her sister, Theresa Misak and her brother, Francis (Sonny) Burnore. Barbara will be remembered by all for her beautiful and contagious smile and laugh. When you would see her smile and laugh it automatically made you do the same. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 pm Monday February 5, 2018 at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church 46 Church ST. Willimantic, CT. Burial will be immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Willimantic, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation or to St. Joseph’s Living Center in Windham, CT.
