Stephen C. Pelletier

Stephen C. Pelletier, 58, of Griswold, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 11, 2009 at his home. He was born June 22, 1950 in Hartford, son of the late Charles and Jane (McKernan) Pelletier and had lived in the Lebanon and Willimantic area for many years. He was a well known automotive mechanic, employed by Markland's Garage in Storrs and later at Martin's Garage in Willimantic and Andover. He is survived by a daughter, Lea Pelletier of Griswold, his former wife, Barbara Drouin also of Griswold, eight siblings, James P. Pelletier of MA, Susan C. Pelletier and Laurie McCaughley, both of NM, David Pelletier of CT, Mary Pelletier-Hunyadi of NY, Tom Pelletier of CT, Elizabeth Wyatt of CT and John Pelletier of CT, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to SCADD, Southeastern CT Alcohol and Drug Dependence, 37 Camp Moween Rd., Lebanon, CT 06249.
