Olga Toth of Storrs, wife of the late John Toth Jr., died Sunday Feb. 16, 2014 at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. The daughter of Alexander Duhansky Sr. and Marie Kvapil, she was born in Virginia and spent most of her life in Connecticut. Olga retired from the former Mansfield State Training School after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Czechoslovak American Club and the Mansfield Senior Center where she was famous for her apple pies and cheese kolaches. Olga was predeceased by a son Donald and four brothers, Alex, Ladislaw, BlasAC. and Otto. She is survived by a son James, a granddaughter in Costa Rica and many nieces and nephews. Olga was a dog lover and enjoyed spending time with her poodles Missy and Mitzi walking around Horse Barn Hill enjoying the sunsets and the Canadian Geese. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, baking and traveling to the mountains. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday Feb. 23, 2014 between 2:00 and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic.
