Dana P. Marley

Dana P. Marley, 52, of Willimantic, CT, beloved son and brother, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 28, 2016, surrounded by his family at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, MA, after a long battle with ALS. He was born on January 7, 1964 in Willimantic, CT to the late Crawford II and Barbara (Nichols) Marley also of Willimantic, CT, he was one of five children. Dana leaves behind two brothers; Crawford Marley III and his wife Ruth of Ashford, CT and Brian Marley of North Windham, CT; two sisters, Vianne Bonczek of North Windham, CT and Teressa Marley of North Windham, CT. He also leaves behind two nephews; Jordan Dore, Josh Dougenik and a niece Nicole Carrow. Dana was retired from the Coca Cola Co. of East Hartford with 33 years of service. Dana had a creative mind, he could fix anything. He was very spiritual and enjoyed taking long walks through nature, and fishing. Dana enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite holiday was Halloween, which he celebrated with a costume party. Dana loved all animals. He rescued strays or adopted others left behind to give them a home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will have a springtime celebration of life for family and friends on April 3, 2016 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the family residence, 69 Circle Dr., North Windham, CT.
