Ryan David Aubrey, affectionately known as Ryan to all who knew him, passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 45, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 22, 1978, in Windham, Connecticut, Ryan’s life was one marked by dedication, kindness, and a loving spirit that touched everyone he encountered.

Ryan’s early years in Windham laid the foundation for a life full of love and service. It was in the heart of Connecticut that he grew into a man who valued family above all else. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Kristen Farnsworth, who stood by him as a beacon of support and love; his son Devon Aubrey and daughters Brionna and Savannah Aubrey, who were the pride and joy of his life; his caring sisters Melissa and Rebecca; his brothers Nate and Noah, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond, and his cherished aunt Chris, who always held a special place in his heart.

Ryan dedicated over two decades of his life to serving his community through his work. He began his career with the Windham public works and then moved on to the State of Connecticut Bridge Division in Franklin, CT. his final years of service were spent with the Manchester public works, where he was known for his steadfast work ethic and his readiness to help his colleagues.

Those who knew Ryan well will remember him as a man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His generosity extended beyond his work, touching the lives of his friends and community members alike. Ryan found joy in spending time at gun ranges, a hobby that showcased his focus and precision, traits that he carried into all aspects of his life.

Ryan’s character was defined by his loving nature, his kindness that knew no bounds, and his courageous spirit. He faced life’s challenges head-on, never shying away from difficulties and always emerging with his signature smile. His presence was a source of comfort and strength to those around him, and his legacy is one of unwavering positivity and resilience.

As we say goodbye to Ryan David Aubrey, we celebrate the remarkable life he led and the countless memories he leaves behind. Ryan’s life will be honored in a private ceremony in Wells, Maine, where he spent many family summers and family trips with the people he loved. Wells, Maine held a special place in his heart. As we reflect on Ryan’s life, we are reminded of the impact one individual can have on the world with simple acts of love and dedication. He will be dearly missed, but the warmth of his memory will forever be a source of comfort and peace for his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
